About Emma

Clinical Psychologist and Founder.

Emma is passionate about working holistically and collaboratively with children, young people, families, and adults to support their growth and wellbeing. She is dedicated to helping individuals develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their daily lives. Emma considers being a psychologist a privilege, as it allows her to listen deeply to her clients’ stories, walk alongside them through challenges, and support them in achieving their goals. She is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental space where people feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring the issues that matter most to them.

Outside of her professional work, Emma enjoys staying active through hiking, running, and triathlons, as well as spending time in nature. She also values relaxing with a good movie and connecting with friends—activities that help her stay balanced and remind her of the importance of joy and meaningful connection in everyday life.

“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength”.

Experience and Approaches used

Emma has gained extensive experience across diverse settings within the field of psychology. Her training and placements have included working at Bond University’s Psychology Clinic, supporting children, adolescents, and adults in a community practice, providing psychological support on-site within an alternative education high school, working with students and their families, and delivering interventions within a correctional setting with offenders. These opportunities have allowed Emma to develop a broad skill set in supporting individuals with a range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviours, depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, parenting challenges, and more.

She has also undertaken a wide range of psychological assessments, both for diagnostic purposes and to inform evidence-based behavioural, psychological, and medical interventions. Emma’s expertise has been further strengthened through her work as a psychologist in private practice, where she has supported children with neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as in her role as a high school guidance counsellor, providing brief mental health interventions to young people.

Emma’s greatest strengths lie in working therapeutically with children, young people, and adolescents. She places strong emphasis on understanding the broader systems in which her clients live—particularly their family, school, and community environments—ensuring her approach is both holistic and tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
